About Us
Established in 1978, Gerald Fortes received the AAA contract. Gerald has been in the auto service industry since 1971, owning three full service Shell gas stations. Since then he has put his efforts into the AAA Emergency Road Service and an AAA Approved Auto Repair shop (Fortes Auto). He is semiretired and has left his two sons to run the business.
Michael and Danny have been running things since 1993 and continue to put forth great efforts into the community.
Mountain View Towing has received many 100% scores on the AAA Service Providers of Excellence program, in which they have proven their abilities to demonstrate the best in Emergency Road Service. Mountain View Towing is very active in the community, donating time and equipment to the Mountain View Police and Fire Departments, Mountain View-Los Altos High School District and the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office. We are also a sponsor for the National Soap Box Derby.
Mountain View Towing will continue in its quality service to members and customers. Their role in the community is done with pride, and they will continue with the best possible service they can provide.
In 2005 and 2006, Mountain View Towing was selected for the Service Provider of Excellence Award for AAA and CAA. Only four companies in the United States and Canada were chosen.
